"Australia" in Australia

I had no idea the multiplex movie theater across the street from work was such a popular venue for premieres until a month ago. My coworker and I wandered across to the Burger King (known as Hungry Jack out here) in search of a veggie burger. I know, right? But I had a craving, and he swore they sold them there. While we were there, we saw them setting up barricades and carpet for an event. So, we talked to one of the setter-uppers and found out they were preparing for Brendan Fraser's arrival to kick off the third installation of "The Mummy."

Today was the much anticipated premiere of "Australia" in Australia. While I'm not sure if it is my type of pay-to-see movie, I was excited that I was going to be in very close proximity to Oz's two prize exports, Nicole and Hugh; not to mention, numerous of other B-list celebrities (perhaps Sarah Silverman or Chelsea Handler!) The windows to our office were full of smudges from people bumping their forehead into the glass trying to get a better look. Luckily, I had front row seats from my window seat, well 11 stories up. I tried to search the web for pictures of the event, which probably just ended the screening, but found none. So will have to make do with my own. Remember, you saw it first from the Poporazzi.

Pretty sure that's Nicole next to the blue umbrella. The crowd was the loudest at this point, and I was informed she'd wearing a short white dress. I think this picture will hold up in court.

Not sure who that is, but definitely more famous than me.

Ground zero for a closer look. And no, that Asian girl is not me. And no, I don't know her.
