Good Things Don't Last

I recently got back into the swing of cooking so much that I actually brought my lunch to work today. I thought I was on a healthy kick until I had a glass of wine.

My meals today consisted of the following:

Brekkie:
Large coffee with whole milk and one sugar
Toast with butter

Lunchie:
Arugula and spinach salad with cherry tomatoes dressed with cracked pepper, lemon zest, and olive oil.
Pasta with homemade red wine bolognaise sauce

Snack:
Vanilla yogurt
Some dark chocolate.

Dinner:
Pinot Noir, Reisling, Chardonnay Viognier
Potato wedges and nachos

Supper:
Bag of Doritos (regular size--thank god the large bags are smaller out here)
McDonald's ice cream cone (thank god they are not super sized out here)
Quality chocolate and brownie ice cream (danger zone)

I guess I really shouldn't complain when starvation is still a reality in parts of the world. But seriously, could someone please take the spoon away from me? Better yet, push me down the stairs, just in case.
