Christmas came early for me this year. It was a very "It's a Wonderful Life" moment when I realized there are good people out there. I mean, I knew there are good people out there, my friends and family being the dominant population, but it is rare to meet a complete stranger and receive the same level of compassion as you would from your BFF. Maybe this person was the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present, and Future here to tell me not to let the past cloud my judgment and not let the present make me a cynic of the future. That was perhaps the best gift I've been given. I don't think we realize how much of an impact we have in someone else's life especially in the little things. Thanks Santa. I really needed this.
